Easter is approaching and as the schools break up for the holiday we have donated Easter Eggs for the vulnerable children using services provided by charity Renfrewshire Women’s Aid.

Women’s Aid provide a confidential service that offers vital information, support and temporary accommodation to women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse. As well as supporting women and children to recover, the charity campaigns to raise awareness of domestic abuse and the impact it has on people’s lives.

Angela Ellingham, Children and Young People’s Support Worker, from Renfrewshire Women’s Aid said “We would like to thank Woodside Funeral Directors for their continued support for Women, Children and Young People who access our service, ensuring they will have good time at Easter. This is the second year that Woodside have generously donated Easter Eggs and it is much appreciated, as is the wider support we receive from the local community.”

Funeral arranger May, pictured above left, added “Donating Easter eggs is just one small way that we can give back to the communities that we have the privilege to serve. We hope our donation will spread some joy and brings a smile to the little ones faces when they receive their Easter Eggs.”
