On Sunday the 5th of September Woodside Cemetery and Crematorium will join Renfrewshire Doors Open Day 2021.

Perhaps one of the more unusual venues to visit, Woodside Crematorium will offer visitors access to the operational areas of the crematorium, a guided walk around the Heritage Trail, and the chance to view the newly refurbished Martyr’s Chapel.

Built in 1938, Woodside Crematorium is well known to many Renfrewshire families and Doors Open Day visitors will have the rare opportunity of a short, guided tour of the operational areas within the crematorium itself and learn more about the usually unseen parts of the listed building.
